What this tool does. It generates a draft Child Safe document pack from your answers, designed to align with Queensland's Child Safe Organisations Act 2024, the Child Safe Standards, the Universal Principle, and the Reportable Conduct Scheme.
It is a starting point, not finished compliance. The options offered reflect common compliant practice, not every pathway open to you. You need to review the draft, tailor it to how your organisation actually works, add anything specific to your service, and keep it current. What matters is your actual practice, not just the existence of a policy, so the document only helps if your day-to-day operations match it. This tool is built for organisations that operate in Queensland: the Child Safe Standards and the Reportable Conduct Scheme are Queensland schemes, and if you operate in another state or territory different laws apply and this pack will not be tailored to them. If you are unsure whether your organisation is captured by the Child Safe Standards or the Reportable Conduct Scheme, check the Act or contact the Queensland Family and Child Commission.
