SIL Practice Standards Self-Assessment
This free tool helps you self-assess your supported independent living service against the four SIL Practice Standards outcomes: Supported Decision-Making, Safeguarding, Practice Governance, and Agreements about tenancy, housing and support.
Work through each outcome tab. For every quality indicator you can record your current evidence, choose a self-assessed outcome (Met, Some work required, or No evidence in place), and note any improvement actions. When you are finished you can download a nicely formatted Excel summary.
Your answers stay in your browser. Nothing is sent to us or saved on our server. Your progress is stored on this device so you can come back to it, and it clears when you download your summary.
Prefer to work offline? You can download a blank version of the spreadsheet, fill it in at your own pace, and keep it for your records.

Only an approved quality auditor or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission can assess or certify your service.
It supports your judgement, it does not replace the Standards. The reflective questions and summary are prompts to help your thinking, not legal, compliance or clinical advice. Always work from the current NDIS Practice Standards and Guidelines that apply to your service; where anything here differs, the official sources prevail. You remain responsible for meeting all applicable standards and obligations.
