This free tool helps Queensland organisations that work with children build a foundational Child Safe document pack, tailored to how you actually operate. Work through the guided questions and download a set of policies, procedures and ready-to-use forms, generated from your answers.
The documents are designed to align with Queensland's Child Safe Organisations Act 2024, the Child Safe Standards, the Universal Principle, and the Reportable Conduct Scheme.

Who this is for
This tool is built for organisations that operate in Queensland. The Child Safe Standards and the Reportable Conduct Scheme are Queensland schemes established by the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024, and the pack is written around those obligations.
If you operate in another state or territory, your child safe obligations come from different laws, and this pack is not tailored to them.

How it works
The tool takes around 20 to 40 minutes. You'll work through 15 short pages covering leadership and culture, the voice of children and families, equity, safe recruitment, managing risk, your code of conduct, complaints, and the reportable conduct process. Most questions are multiple choice, so you can move quickly.
Your answers tailor every document. If you already have a complaints policy, we refer to it by name instead of generating a new one; if you are a one-person business, the staff-focused sections adjust automatically. Your pack downloads immediately as a ZIP, and nothing you enter leaves your device.
