Who this is for
This tool is designed for NDIS providers on the certification pathway. Whether you're registering for the first time, preparing for a mid-term or recertification audit, or just want to know where you stand before you start spending money on it.
It currently covers the Core Module of the NDIS Practice Standards. Supplementary modules are being added.
If you're preparing for a Verification audit, this doesn't include your requirements. Verification providers are assessed against a much shorter set of standards, and our free Verification Toolkit is the better place to start.
When you finish, you'll download a Word report containing:
- Evidence you still need, grouped by outcome
- A record of the evidence you confirmed you hold, in the same order
- Anything you marked not applicable
- Your own brand colour on the headings, if you want it
How it works
You work through the four divisions of the Core Module, twenty-four outcomes in all. Each checklist item lists a policy, a register, a record, or a training log, which will help you meet that specific outcome.
Your progress saves in your browser as you go and is kept for 30 days, including after you download. You might do this over more than one sitting, and you can download the report part-finished at any point. Nothing you enter is sent to us or stored on our server.
What this tool does not do
It asks whether you hold something, but it doesn't tell you whether what you have in place is sufficient, and ticking everything doesn't guarantee you'll pass your audit.
Auditors look for evidence that your processes are being implemented day-to-day, such as training records, decisions being made, and things changing as a result.
This is preparation support, not an audit and not advice. It is not produced or endorsed by the NDIS. Only an approved quality auditor can audit your service and recommend registration.
