SIL Policy and Procedure Toolkit coming soon

A policy and procedure builder for providers delivering Supported Independent Living, built around the new SIL Practice Standards.

Why we're waiting: the NDIS Commission has released the SIL Practice Standards module in draft. We'll launch once those standards are finalised, so your documentation matches the version you're actually audited against.

What the SIL Toolkit will cover

Built around the four new Supported Independent Living Practice Standards.

1
Supported decision-making
How participants make their own decisions about their home and daily life, with the information and support to do so.
2
Safeguarding
How you keep participants safe from harm while preserving their choice and dignity of risk, including the risks that arise between people who share a home.
3
Practice Governance
How you ensure workers are trained, competent and supported to deliver good practice, and how participants have a real say in their home, including who they live with.
3
Tenancy, housing, and support arrangements
How you keep a participant’s home secure and separate from their support, so that a support issue can never cost them their housing.
+
Supporting documents
A selection of forms and templates you can use to help demonstrate how you meet the above Standards.
How it'll work

Rather than handing over generic templates to customise, our tools ask guided questions about how your supports are actually delivered and builds the documentation from your answers. Check out our free tools to see how it works.

Who's building it

The SIL Toolkit is being developed by Penny Halpin, an NDIS Lead Auditor working in certification since 2018.
