NDIS SIL Self-Assessment Tool

This free tool helps you self-assess your service against the new NDIS SIL Practice Standards, which have applied to Supported Independent Living providers since 1 July 2026. Work through each quality indicator under the four standards, record the evidence you already have, rate how well you meet it, and note what to improve before your audit.

For each indicator you'll see the indicator itself, a few reflective questions to consider, and space to record your current evidence, a rating (met, some work required, or no evidence in place), and your improvement actions. When you've finished, you can download a formatted summary as a spreadsheet.

Before you start

  • Your progress saves automatically in your browser as you work, so you can stop and pick up later using the same browser and device.
  • For data security, everything you enter stays in your browser. Nothing is sent to us or stored on our servers, and you don't need an account.
  • Have your key documents handy: your policies and procedures, training and competency records, and your service and tenancy agreements.

You can download a blank version of the spreadsheet and fill it in yourself.

About the standards
